The YWCC Capstone Program is the flagship industry–academic partnership at NJIT’s Ying Wu College of Computing. Each semester, students collaborate with real companies, nonprofits, startups, and research groups to build solutions that address real-world problems. The Capstone Program is the Ying Wu College of Computing’s signature experiential learning initiative. Each semester, student teams partner with industry sponsors to design, develop, and deliver real solutions to real problems. These projects mirror professional environments — complete with teamwork, project planning, research, prototyping, and technical execution. Sponsors gain access to fresh perspectives, emerging talent, and innovative solutions. Students gain hands-on experience, mentorship, leadership opportunities, and a portfolio-worthy project.How the Capstone Experience Works
